WELLINGTON CHANG​

Wellington Chang is a dedicated real estate agent with a passion for helping clients achieve their property goals in the Bay Area. Born and raised in San Francisco, California, Wellington’s early exposure to real estate began when he assisted his parents in renovating rental units, handling tasks such as painting, flooring, and landscaping. This hands-on experience sparked his interest in the industry and laid the foundation for his future career.

After completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science at UC Berkeley, Wellington initially planned to pursue Traditional Chinese Medicine. However, his involvement with the real estate club at the university led him to realize that his true calling lay in the world of commercial real estate. Recognizing the natural fit between his personality and the demands of the industry, Wellington decided to pivot from medicine and dive headfirst into his real estate career upon graduating.

Although Wellington officially entered the real estate industry in October 2020, his prior work experiences have equipped him with valuable skills that benefit his clients. His background in healthcare and food service has nurtured a customer-centric approach, ensuring that his clients’ needs are always prioritized. Furthermore, Wellington’s experience advocating for his immigrant parents has honed his negotiation skills and instilled in him a tireless work ethic, leaving no stone unturned in his pursuit of the perfect deal or buyer.

Wellington’s achievements extend beyond his professional endeavors. Through his assistance, he has successfully repositioned his parents’ real estate holdings, significantly increasing their cash flow by more than five fold. These accomplishments highlight his ability to deliver tangible results and his dedication to maximizing his clients’ investments.

Described as loyal, persistent, and ambitious, Wellington is driven by his desire for personal growth and his commitment to excellence. He finds inspiration in exceptional leaders and his mother, who has overcome numerous challenges to provide a better life for their family. Wellington’s multilingual abilities in Cantonese, Mandarin, and Spanish, along with his strong communication skills, enable him to serve a diverse range of clients effectively.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Wellington is actively involved in organizations that contribute to his industry knowledge and networking opportunities. He serves as the Commercial Real Estate Chair on the Board of Directors for AREAA SF Peninsula and participates in SARE (Subtle Asian Real Estate), a nationwide real estate investor group.

In his spare time, Wellington enjoys the company of his loved ones and cherishes the opportunity to unwind and recharge. Whether engaging in sports leagues for volleyball, softball, and flag football or participating in competitive activities, he finds joy in physical activity and creating memorable experiences.
